Youth and Underage Protection
VirtuAI is an adult-oriented AI companion service intended exclusively for people aged 18 or older. We use technical and organisational safeguards to keep adult functionality away from minors and to prevent sexual content involving or resembling minors.
Age rating and technical labelling
VirtuAI is not directed at children or minors. The service is classified for adults aged 18 and over.
For youth-protection filtering systems, VirtuAI publishes machine-readable age labels at /age.xml and /age-de.xml.
Independent age verification
Adult and NSFW functionality is unavailable until the user successfully completes independent age verification through Yoti. Depending on the methods offered by Yoti, verification may use a Digital ID, an accepted government-issued identity document, or facial age estimation.
A payment card, an entered date of birth, parental consent, or a user statement is not a substitute for successful verification. Failed, cancelled, expired, or incomplete verification does not unlock adult functionality.
Yoti is an age-verification provider certified by the German Commission for the Protection of Minors in the Media (KJM). VirtuAI receives the verification result rather than a copy of the underlying identity document or facial image.
Protection of minors in generated content
VirtuAI prohibits requests for, attempted creation of, and generated sexual content involving minors or persons presented as minors. This prohibition applies to fictional, fantasy, and roleplay scenarios as well as text, images, voice, and video.
Moderation and enforcement
VirtuAI uses automated input and output safeguards and provider moderation signals to detect prohibited requests and generated material. Suspected violations may result in blocked requests or outputs, restricted functionality, preservation of necessary technical records, or permanent account termination.
Where required by applicable law, VirtuAI may preserve relevant information and cooperate with competent authorities or designated reporting bodies. Severe violations do not require repeated warnings before action is taken.
Reporting a concern
If you believe a minor has accessed the service, an account is being used by a minor, or prohibited material involving minors has been requested or generated, contact contact@virtugf.com immediately. Include information sufficient to identify the account or interaction, but do not unnecessarily copy or attach suspected illegal imagery.
